Set in a private tropical courtyard completely hidden from view this unique Old Town Key West villa exudes Caribbean charm and offers all the amenities for true indoor-outdoor isle-style living. From the minute you step through the private courtyard gate you'll feel you've entered your own little paradise far away from the stresses of everyday life. Some days it will be all you can do to resist the temptation to just stay at the villa and lounge around the pool all day.

Grounds: The relaxed nature of the "L-Shape design" of this island villa is ideal for enjoying laid-back vacation living with the focus around a lushly landscaped private courtyard and swimming pool. Landscaping includes a colorful variety of palm trees, bananas, crotons, orchids, and tropical ferns and the generous size swimming pool is ever inviting. To enter this property, first pass through the garden arch that identifies the private walk-way to "Louisa's Private Courtyard." The path leads to a tall locking courtyard gate and once inside turn left to walk along the villa entrances.

Interior Layout: Both the master bedroom and living room have double French doors that open to the courtyard. The first French doors you pass by connect to the master bedroom which is shown with lemon colored walls and white wainscoting. This bedroom offers a king size pillow top bed, full en-suite bath, plus the unique feature of a varnished wet-bar and kitchenette that open to the pool deck. Custom bi-fold windows over the bar and next to the master bedroom doors invite you to bring the outdoors inside and a roof overhang provides shade from the sun and protection from an unexpected tropical shower.

Straight ahead is the main French door entrance leading to the living room and kitchen area where the "L-Shape" of the villa makes the turn to the right. A portico adorned with turned porch posts and gingerbread trim graces the main entrance and is set with a round dining table on the left creating the perfect indoor-outdoor dining space. In our slide show the BBQ grill is set to slightly to the right of the portico and the living room/kitchen entrance.

Directly through the main front entrance is the split-level open living room/kitchen area. This light-filled living area is designed in a contemporary-tropical style. The living room has a large screen TV and stereo and offers a queen sleeper sofa for extra sleeping, and the "U-Shape" kitchen with beautiful wood cabinets and tiled counter tops is easy to cook in. A newly remodeled bathroom is conveniently set off the living room close to the front entrance making it a convenient pool-side bath.

The other bedrooms in this villa are located down the hall which is just to the left of the living room as you enter the house. As you proceed down the hall the first bedroom is to the right and is shown with bright coral colored walls with white cottage-style headboard. This bedroom offers a queen size pillow top bed and very spacious walk-in closet. Continue down the hall to reach the second bedroom shown with pale blue walls and a white wooden arch-style headboard. The blue bedroom is very spacious, offers a king size pillow top bed and a full en-suite bath and can be considered a second master bedroom. This room also has a large walk-in closet.

The furnishings and colorful decor throughout this villa are modern-tropical style. All bathrooms are beautifully tiled and luxurious. The courtyard is completely surrounded by the house and a tall gated fence with a private garden for relaxing and outdoor dining with lots of beautiful tropical trees and flowers. The lay out is perfect for gatherings of family and friends, and has all the accouterments one desires to feel at home in Key West.

Sleeping configuration:

• Master bedroom - (pillow top) king size bed
• Second bedroom - (pillow top) queen size bed
• Third bedroom - (pillow top) king size bed, this bedroom can also stand as a second master bedroom
• Living room - queen sleeper sofa.

Amenities: Swimming pool, large pool deck, tropical gardens, and portico. Fully equipped gourmet style kitchen, wet bar, central a/c, telephone, High Speed Internet, color cable TV, stereo, washer / dryer. Linens and towels are provided. Catering can be arranged. Maid service can be scheduled.

Parking: Private off - Street Parking for one standard or compact size car. "Big Rigs" won't fit. If you arrive by car plan to park it in your private parking space and enjoy walking or biking around the island.

Activities: Uptown Old Town Key West - Just steps from Duval St. Close to the Southern Most Point of the United States and Key West South Beach. Beautiful cafe neighborhood features art galleries, wonderful eateries and internationally famous fine restaurants (Banana Cafe is just down the street), coffee and tea house, fine gift and clothing stores, Grand Vin wine tasting, Flamingo Crossing home made ice cream. Start at the top of Duval St. near the Atlantic Ocean and can take the 20 min stroll to the Gulf of Mexico (remember it takes 3 to 4 Key West streets to equal the distance of a typical city block). Sailing, boating, diving, museums, nightlife.

Restrictions: Smoke free house. Only well behaved children. Smoking permitted outside only. Absolutely no pets. (Please don't ask).
