But Key West is famous for it's refreshing tropical gardens too, and in the warm seasons lush island flora strike their pose with vibrant orange blooms of flamboyant Poinciana and brilliant climbing red and purple bougainvillea. Property Layout: This property offers a spacious 3 bedroom 2.5 bath mid-century home and a private studio cottage with newly renovated kitchenette and private bathroom.

Main House - The floor plan of the main house has a traditional mid-century layout with the three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms that are off the hall that connect to the living room.

There are two master bedrooms in the main house. The key-lime green master bedroom has an en-suite private bath, king size bed, and little garden space for reading and relaxation. A second master bedroom across the hall also offers a king size bed and has a new custom renovated en-suite bathroom that features oversize windows above the tub, glass block, with an oversized shower with seamless glass doors, oversized vanity with a black granite top, and walls finished with knotty pine and tile.

The third (spare) bedroom, also off the hall, is cozy and painted a deep tropical forest green. Bedding is a trundle bed that offers one or two twins. The half bath (i.e. free-standing sink and commode) are directly across the hall from the third bedroom.

Studio Cottage - The brilliantly renovated studio cottage with spacious sleeping loft, is set up as a writers retreat and is a perfect office space as well as private living area. Complete with spacious new candy apple red kitchenette and newly renovated private bathroom with shower, the downstairs provides a living room area with a sofa, writing desk and large flat screen TV. Climb the ladder to the loft and find a private sleeping cuddle nook with king size bed. Downstairs across from the writing desk is a twin size bed for napping or sleeping on the ground floor.

Area: The property is very unique for a Key West weekly rental in that it is located in a quiet residential area away from most vacation rentals that are licensed to rent weekly. This home offers some amenities not typically found in a Key West vacation rental home including a large private swimming pool with pool cabana and baby grand player piano in the living room. Situated on corner lot, there are neighbors only on one side. There is plenty of room to lounge at the pool in the large garden area.

Activities: Beach, shopping, restaurants, museums, sailing, boating, snorkeling, diving, theatre, night life, family activities. Close access to Old Town.

Restrictions: The property will not tolerate smoking inside. The property is located in a residential neighborhood and is definitely not suitable for staging loud parties. Only well behaved children are welcome. This property is not "child-proof". We do not accept guests less than 25 years of age unless accompanied by a family group or guardian.
