The tropical gardens of Key West are lush year around, and a walk around the neighborhoods always brings a special thrill. In the springtime some of my favorite exotics start popping out like this incredible passion flower that shouts out the glory of springtime.  Beautiful banana flowers poke out of the trees with baby bunches of sweet fruit showing through.  As the sun sets island temperatures stay warm, and sweet tropical breezes waft the smell of night blooming jasmine and mimosa flowers.  Be sure to slow your pace way down when you’re in Key West. Stroll the narrow pedestrian streets, take in the gardens and you’ll get closer to nature on your way to the beach or downtown.
