Key West By Foot: The Historic Seaport & Harbor

Strolling the Key West Harbor Walk is a great way to spend an afternoon. Head down the path of wooden planks stretching across the Key West Historic Seaport. Take in the sea breeze and see what the local fisherman are unloading off their boats. Take a break and stop for libations at one of the many fine establishments along the way.
There are quite a few well know Key West establishments to visit along the way. Just a few are listed below.
- Schooner Wharf- A little piece of old Key West. This bar often has live music.
- Boathouse- Great selection of seafood during happy hour. (4-6:30 PM)
- Conch Republic Seafood- Another stop with fresh seafood and drinks.
- Fisherman’s Cafe- Little Key West style eatery on Lazy Way Lane.
- Waterfront Brewery- Good beer, brewed in house. Check out the roof deck.
Walking along the dock you can often find the local fisherman displaying their catch. Look for the fish cleaning tables as there is usually someone feeding the tarpon and other fish living under the dock. This can be a fun show for all ages.
