We Love Key West and we love the Vintage Luxury Cottage on Duval. We have been coming to this same house since 2013. Perfect for a couple. Quiet but also can hear street sounds so you remember "You are in Key West". We love stopping into the Grand Vin wine shop in front of the cottage for wine and cheese plates. After being out with the crowds it is so nice to get home and have your own relaxing getaway. Already booked for next year.

We love Vintage Luxury Cottage - we've stayed there multiple times. This time was different. Has the owner changed? The inside looked tacky - cheap art/photos on the wall (not even centered), a broom and dustpan in the corner of the living room....what????, grass growing through the bricks outside, etc. It had a much different feel this time. Too bad. It used to be such a classy and luxurious cottage. The volume on the living room TV did not work. Also, the iguanas are a nuisance - HUGE! A couple were at least 6 feet long. They crawl on the lounge chairs and on the edge of the pool. It made being outside much less enjoyable.

This is our second time renting this cottage. We love everything about it. The pool is great size, it has a nice parking spot and the king bed is very comfy. We also enjoyed ending our evenings at Grand Vin. Our only complaint this time was the iguanas around the pool. We are Floridians and used to seeing them. The ones around the patio/pool are clearly fed from visitors because they did not scare off easily. Perhaps some signs should be put out for others staying to not feed them or have a trapper come around. There were several times we were laying out and they would come right up. Gross!

Couldn't have found a better location with a private pool! A full sized fridge would be a great addition, but I understand they are limited in space. Just need to add a couple of rental bikes and you're immersed in the Key West lifestyle. Would recommend and return to this rental without any hesitation.

Television in the bedroom was not programmed. It was asking for an ID/password. There are a lot of dead leaves in the yard, many of which we're getting in the pool. I emptied the skimmer several times and cleaned the pool with the net a few times to make it manageable. There is a light out in the wall sconce on the patio. The house gets a lot of noise from the three houses surrounding it. We couldn't tell a few times whether they were laughing, partying, fighting, or all three. The house, itself, is nice. Everything seemed to be in very good shape, such as appliances, plumbing, and A/C. I would not have a problem renting from you in the future. We'll be trying different properties in the coming years before we retire in about 10 years. We've been to Key West three times in the last nine months and will be back, at least annually. Great location, near several restaurants we like. Oh, the handle on the gate to the street is very loose and the key box is tough to manage.

Location is what this place is all about. It is quaint and very quiet. I would recommend but beware of a very small bathroom and a shower that does not drain. We called and they sent someone out to take a look and then a day later we saw Drain o behind the toilet and used it as well. It sort of got better. Since this is a vacation rental and not an Air BNB or VRBO there are NO cooking condiments as well. No salt, pepper, Pam, spices of any sort . ZERO. But the food is so good in the KEYS so why bother cooking at home anyway. We tried breakfast (we used butter that we purchased) but the pans are so old that the eggs stuck terribly. They only provided a dishwand refillable pads but no wand. Again, don't bother to cook but there are some great breakfast places alone Duval street. Even though I am telling you all about the negative again I will remind you Location. But if I had to stay there longer than I week, not sure I would stay at this property. But for a week it is great

We so appreciated allowing a move of our reservation to a later date as a result of the pandemic. We always like to stay at this house due to its location on Duval Street. One observation during our stay is that the washer dryer had been removed from the house and I think has not been reflected in the amenities for the house. Being in Key West for a week in the summer produces much laundry due to the heat. So in the past having that amenity available is a real benefit.

I would like to suggest that the address number be put on the gate or fence as it was difficult to find. Note to owners: the dryer is not drying. Even 1 to 2 towels would not dry. Thank you again! Overall we like liked the cottage very much and are renting again next year. We did feel that some improvements could be made that would make it more enjoyable. The kitchen is very small but would be nice to have some bowls that could be used in the microwave when cooking dinner as well as some plastic containers for leftovers and a steaming pot for seafood. It would also be nice to have a dust buster or some sort of small vacuum. There was a broom, but no dust pan. We also wished there had been some sort of small leaf blower so we could blow the leaves away from the pool. It would be nice too if there were better shelves in the bathroom for toiletries since there is no vanity space. Other than these suggestions, which would make the cottage more comfortable, it is really cute and we really enjoyed our time there.

Tucked away luxury just off Duval. Within walking distance of just about anything you want to do. Very private pool. Perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway (33rd anniversary for us). We had a minor issue with the AC the first night (wouldn't shut off) - the property manager had a technician out the next day on a Saturday! We come to Key West every two years and this is the first time we found this cottage - it won't be the last!

We stayed at the Luxury Vintage Cottage for three days just after Fantasy Fest. I would highly recommend this place to people who like their privacy. The house is located in a garden right off upper Duval Street, yet it is very private and quiet. A parking spot is available right in front of the property and everything is within easy walking distance. The house is very comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a heated swimming pool. Everything was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed daily swims in the pool and dinners on the terrace. The outdoor dining area under the porch could have been made more comfortable with the addition of pads on the chairs and the adjoining sitting area under the porch would have been more enjoyable with a small side-table to put one's glass of wine on and some seat cushions as well. All in all, the Luxury Vintage Cottage is the perfect place to stay at in Key West.

The Vintage Luxury Cottage is a best kept secret for two. The first thing you notice is how private it is. The second is how clean and well maintained everything is. No grandma's old furniture here! The property has all the little amenities one would expect, wifi, washer & dryer, hair dryer, dishwasher, blender. They even had a pair of very nice wine glasses. We loved the ceiling fans inside & outdoors. A couple of very minor things to consider are that the bathroom door is louvered, very authentically Key West, but I'd prefer not to hear everything that goes on in there. ) Also bathroom storage is extremely limited, so prepare to function out of your makeup bag. There is a charming little metal shelf unit over the toilet, but it has a lattice work bottom, so small things fall over or thru. Perhaps the owners might consider adding plexiglass shelf toppers? The shower made up for those shortcomings by being spacious with a bench seat and an adjustable height hand held shower head, very convenient for tall people in your life. The bedroom and living room are surprisingly spacious for such a cozy cottage. Perfect for two people, but three would be a bit much for me. Hands down, the absolute best feature is the private pool. We were in it multiple times daily. It's about 12' x 24' and goes from 3'-6'. There are two seating shelves. We spent many happy hours chilling in it, watching the anoles, birds and occasional chicken family enjoy the beautifully landscaped (and well lit at night) brick courtyard. The location is prime. We walked to everything. Wonderful bars (hey Rum Bar!), restaurants (ummm, Origami), shopping and people watching. The Duval Loop free bus can get you to other places when you don't feel like trekking thru the humidity. Hey, you can always jump in the pool when you get back. We did! I really shouldn't submit this review because we don't want it booked up when we come to stay again.

A Key West oasis! This lovely cottage is tucked just off Duval Street where there is no end to the shops, restaurants, and night life. We loved that this end of Duval is quiet allowing for a peaceful retreat yet only steps to The party. The king bed was comfy, the kitchen was well equipped, and the outdoor grill was great for grilling up KW pinks and snapper. The pool was decadent and a luxury not having to share with others. We were so glad it was heated as the temp was cool during our stay. We will definitely be back for another week of paradise.

We love the little cottage at 1107 Duval St.!! This was our third year and we hope to return again next year and make it our annual trip. We love almost everything about the cottage. And thank you for the weather!! If we had any concerns, they would be SMALL things: Grab bars in the shower would have prevented my fall. (I was not injured.) I also had trouble getting in and out of the pool because there is no railing on the steps. In the kitchen, a smaller skillet and an oven-ready casserole dish would have made food prep easier. But I know those are very minor. I'm just trying to make it PERFECT. ? Otherwise, it's a wonderful place!! And no roaches this year, either! We hope to return July 21 thru July 28, 2018.

The cottage was in a perfect location, the pool was awesome, and had everything we needed. The only problem we had was there is a foul odor that was coming from inside the cabinets above the sink. I think the cleaning service needs to clean out that whole cabinet it smells really bad. We loved having the 2 refrigerators, and the washer and dryer was definitely a bonus. I will definitely recommend this location and we will definitely be back.

I like everything about the cottage and it was super clean and comfortable. That's inside. Outside, so beautiful but painful with those iron chaises and thin cushions. Really killed our backs. I now remember that from the first time we stayed there. I would recommend adding a few folding lawn chairs (the Pier 1 chairs on the porch aren't really for lounging. I have them at home) and either replace the chaise cushions with very thick ones, or just go with new, comfortable chaises. We love the cottage, and want to return. Those chaises are my only reluctance. I spend the majority of my time there outside by the pool, so it makes a big difference.

The check in process was easy. We loved the location of the house. The patio furniture could have been more comfortable. The chairs were difficult to sit in for any length of time.

If you're looking to get away from it all, then this quaint and private cottage is for you. My husband and I had a BLAST. The location is the BEST and the cottage has it's own private pool. Walk to everywhere, enjoy the Roosters, Locals are so nice, and cheese platters with wine everyday from Gran Vin. Overall a Super Positive Experience filled with So Much FUN ! We parked our Harley and didn't get back on it until it was time to check out and head back home. We can't wait to plan a longer stay next time at this same property.

We really enjoyed the unit. It is so conveniently located and perfectly sized and furnished. We were also most impressed with maintenance service: the shower drain was pretty clogged and we called in a request. It was serviced quickly, while we were out. We could have used a little heat on a couple of the cold nights and morning, but we gather that's not usually a necessity :).

My Husband & I spent our honeymoon in Key west. We rented 1107 Duval Street. This house was more than perfect for us. GREAT location, pool in the backyard , amazing porch. We were able to walk everywhere or take a short bike ride to Mallory Square. I would highly recommend this home! We had such an amazing time, we enjoyed being in the center of all attractions but tucked away on a private and very quite property! Our Honeymoon was in the beginning of October , weather was still mid 80's however we did get up heating the pool to utilize it.. we used it more in the evenings!

The cottage we rented was everything it said it would be. Clean. Kitchen fully equipped. Private pool. Great location. Only one morning noisy from putting in a new pool on the property. We had a great week and would return again.
