A Key West Christmas Tree Made from Wooden Lobster Traps and Red Boat Fenders

A delightful handicraft Christmas tree made of wooden lobster traps with red boat fenders for ornaments and a red lobster for a tree top harkens in the holiday mariner’s spirit on the waterfront at Key West’s Historic Seaport.  Tall and impressive, it feels so perfectly natural set amidst the large ship wreck anchors and chain that adorn the pedestrian entrance near William Street, so much more fitting than a towering evergreen tree would be at this spot.  It’s so nice to see how our island community uses everyday objects in such inspiring creative ways.
