Key West Bird Sanctuary offers a Peaceful Moment during the holidays

Birds of many different feathers stop at the Bird Sanctuary on Key West to refresh, bathe and eat in harmony.

A silent walk brings time for reflection amidst the haste and holiday bustle.  Quietly nestled between Higgs Beach and the short street called Casa Marina Court, I strolled past the little known Bird Sanctuary on Key West during morning light. Birds of many different feathers stop here to refresh, bathe and eat in harmony.

This little precious green space on the island is all it takes to maintain an amazing tiny eco system like this one.  A place to take a quiet moment, a short break that renews the spirit by observing the wonder of nature, and being thankful for the beauty of this island.

Peace on Earth, and Good Will to Men, Women, and all the Birds no matter what their feather.

Happy Holidays!
