A big white furry dog the size of the lit up reindeer in the yard peeks curiously through a ladder as his determined Key West owners decorate their yard on United Street for Christmas. I watched as husband and wife worked together to put up the nativity scene and string the white twinkling lights around the bare frangiapani tree. There was such sweetness about this whole scene. I clapped in appreciation of their creativity as I watched them work, and they giggled in delight. A little bit of child comes out in all of us at Christmastime.
