A lone rose hibiscus blooms in the rain in Molly Parker's Garden, Key West

The Lone Hibiscus Rose

'Lone rose hibiscus in the rain,

Makes me ponder once again,

How Mother Nature makes her way,

No matter what we feel or say, no matter if we go or stay,

Palm fronds unfurl from soft bark trees,

I find my way among the leaves,

While orchids rest their blooms in peace, no matter if I go or cease,

The lone hibiscus blooms with ease.'
