This is no surprise when considering Key West offers all the perks of a tropical getaway combined with easy travel and planning (No Passport Required!). With locations ranging from historic to tropical, there is something for everyone. Key West is also famous for it's culture including the great food and unique entertainment. There are many reasons to pick the Southernmost City as your venue, below we share just a few.
Key West is the southernmost and one of the oldest cities in America, with beautifully classic architecture and stunning natural surroundings. The famous historic sites around the island provide amazing venues for hosting weddings. Event venues include places like
The Hemingway House & Historic Fort Zachary Taylor. Since this is an island, we are surrounded by the clear blue waters of the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico, there's no shortage of beaches and other waterfront venues. Key West is sure to provide options for everyone, from vows exchanged in front of the Southernmost Point to private island ceremonies.
The
Southernmost House (photo above) is just one of the many picturesque locations around town. With so many historic locations there are other excellent venues such as the
Audubon House as well as The Oldest House in Key West. If you're looking for something more casual, get in touch with one of the many sailing charters in town as most will accommodate weddings and wedding parties onboard. The high season and top rates are from the end of December to April. Try planning for the summer if you are looking for a more affordable option.
