Topsail Suite

Topsail Suite vacation rental is a spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom hideaway that encompasses the entire second floor of our Grand Marshall ~ Key West-Bahama Estate. This charming "loft suite" offers a birds-eye view of beautiful Frances Street in the Key West Historic Seaport District. The open and airy living room has multiple sets of glass French doors that open to the Victorian porches and invite in the sunlight and breezes. Open beamed ceilings that are over 12 feet high and painted bright white give an uplifting feel. Recent renovations include bamboo wooden flooring, travertine marble tile, and granite counter tops.

A "ship's ladder" style staircase leads to the over-sized "stand up" loft bedroom, creating a 3rd floor effect. This carpeted bedroom has two twin beds that can be pushed together to make a king bed. A wooden railing creates an atrium view from which you can look down at the living room area. The galley kitchen, which also opens to the porches, has a pass through window connecting it with the living room.

The second bedroom, which has a queen size bed, and the full bathroom are just off the hall from the living room. The living room adjoins a classic Victorian wrap around porch that loops from the front of the house to the side, to overlook the landscaped deck and large swimming pool below.

Tasteful furnishings are consistent with the other suites in this estate property. Earth tone tropical wicker, bamboo, leather, and wood furnishings create a relaxed and inviting island breeze ambience.

When rented as a separate unit, "Topsail Suite" shares the large swimming pool and sun deck at the Grand Marshall ~Key West-Bahama Estate property.

Amenities: Modern renovation. Expansive wrap around porch on 2^nd floor. Large heated swimming pool, large deck gardens, and privacy fences. Fully equipped kitchen, central a/c, telephone, and cable TV, stereo. Linens and towels are provided. Laundry service available. Catering can be arranged. Maid service can be scheduled.

Activities: Just a few short streets from Duval Street (remember it takes 3 to 4 Key West streets to make a city block); 2 streets from Key West Historic Seaport harbor where the boats are docked.  Easy walk to Mallory Square Sunset Celebration. Close to adventures and activities including boating, diving, museums, nightlife, shopping, art galleries, a variety of local and international restaurants, coffee shops.  Easy walk or bike ride from this property to several Key West beaches.

Area: Heart of Key West’s designated Historic Seaport District.  This popular and famous neighborhood has many alluring Victorian Homes and cottages.  It has the famous Old Town Key West waterfront and lower Duval Street with waterfront restaurants and bars.

Restrictions: Smoke Free house.  Absolutely no pets please.

Parking: This home was built in a neighborhood before there were cars. You can park on the street, but we recommend that you park at City of Key West Parking Lot just a few short streets away as most street parking is reserved for permanent residents. From this location you do not need a car. Enjoy walking or biking everywhere you'll see more that way.

This property is located in a residential neighborhood where most residents live full time. This neighborhood is most definitely not suitable for staging loud parties. Only well behaved children are welcome. This property is not "child-proof." We do not accept guests less than 25 years of age unless accompanied by a family group or guardian.
